Sengkang Sports Centre, formerly known as Sengkang Sports and Recreation Centre, is a sports complex in Anchorvale of Sengkang New Town, Singapore, near Farmway LRT station. It was scheduled to open in end 2007, but its inauguration was delayed until mid-late 2008. Sengkang Sport Centre, is co-located with the People’s Association Anchorvale Community Club, and offers one of the two sheltered pool managed by Sports Singapore. Sengkang has established itself as a world class venue for hockey, with significant facility upgrades being undertaken for the inaugural Youth Olympic Games (2010).

The Sengkang Sports centre is about 2-3 streets away from Compass Point. If you want to kick start your exercise session earlier, i would suggest that you walk/run from the MRT station instead of taking a bus down (2 busstops).
The facilities are new. Other than the usual badminton courts and swimming pools, this complex also has 2 hockey pitches. Well unless you are able to find that 22 people who knows how to play the game, you could simply drop by in the evening to catch clubs in training. The national team and youth team trains here 😉
The swimming pools are huge. There is lap pool and another with slides and all. Kids would love it here.
